Hi, I’m Zita Rubene, a certified personal trainer with a background in psychology and over 5 years of hands-on experience helping people build resilience, strength,  and confidence—both in and out of the gym.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a fitness coach. In fact, I found training at a time when I felt completely lost. Life felt directionless, and I was struggling mentally. Stepping into the gym was the first place I felt in control—and slowly, through consistency and discipline, it became more than just a routine. It became a lifestyle.

Training didn’t just change my body—it rebuilt my mindset. It gave me purpose, structure, and confidence. That transformation is what inspired me to help others experience the same shift, not just physically, but mentally too.

My fitness journey started in Latvia, where I combined my passion for movement with a deep interest in human behavior. After earning my degree in psychology from Riga Stradins University, I realized just how powerful the mind-body connection is when it comes to sustainable transformation. And I decided I want to get a certification as a coach too. So I can help even more people.

Since 2021, I’ve worked in a wide range of mentor, fitness and coaching roles—from mentoring at Resilience Centre to coaching at Lemon Gym in Latvia, and now training clients full-time in Malta at Fort Fitness and Pro Fit. Along the way, I’ve also helped people around the world through online coaching using the TrueCoach platform.

My approach is rooted in science, structure, and empathy. Fitness isn’t just about how you look—it’s about how you feel, move, and live. My approach goes beyond aesthetics. I believe true health is about building strength from the inside out: physically, mentally, and emotionally.

It’s not just about chasing a certain body type—it’s about creating a lifestyle where you feel confident, capable, and energized in your own skin. Training should support your life, not control it. My goal is to help you build a body that not only looks good, but functions well, feels strong, and supports your well-being long-term.
